quiltaholi_518 Posted February 17, 2007 Report Share Posted February 17, 2007 Also, I found out that those little rubber gaskets that are on the motor shaft can be ordered, a few pennies each. They get dried out and slip off the shaft and cause problems. (I am talking aobut the old style of bobbin winder, which goes fast enough for me!) I use So Fine almost exclusively and I have a tip. Keep one cone of thread to wind with, and one on the machine. That way I don't have to overwind too many bobbins, and if I have guessed low, I don't have to remove the cone off the machine...
