victoriasews
No creative brain cells firing for this one. I can't think of a single thing to put on this. The blocks are quite large so cc isn't really an option. I'm up for just about anything.
quiltmonkey
How 'bout some sort of line dancing design in each section of the block? Here is an example that our Tracey from Canada recently did...
Laurie
How about something along the lines of Diane Phillips' Flower Power? They would fit the piecing nicely.....
Robin
I know one thing from experience. You don't want to panto this as you will want to do something that avoids those intersections cuz your machine will hang up on the seams of the stack and wack blocks. Quilting Heidi
In the plain blocks I would do something that will create a spin affect like a big spiral. In the Stack-n-Whack jsut echo the design a little or line dance it like Shana said.
Daisy2018
Is one of the blocks truly only the behind of the animal?!!
ffq-lar
Love that antelope heiny--or whatever that animal is!! She must have used the cut-a-strip-and-use-all-the-triangles method instead of the fussy-cut way for the S&W. As for quilting suggestions, those light stars will need to be filled with something more intricate to compete with the busy fabric stars. Shana's line-dancing suggestion is great--one continuous line for each star. You could use the same design in each star--practice on the busy ones and after two or three, you will be comfortable and have easier stitching on the plain ones! Cheryll
there is a really nice picture of a Stack and Wack with a spiral circle on the Circle Lord web site under spiral template. It really looked good.
Gator
I like the idea of leafs and vines on a "safari" theme.
