Welcome LinneaMarie! You will love your machine and the gals (and guys) on this forum will help you through all your beginner's questions and then some. I have to check in with the forum at least once a day or my day is not complete!

Do you have the nursery ready?

Is it a boy or girl?

Do you have a name chosen?

Glad to have you part of the family!:D

How exciting!!!!!:) Welcome here. I too am a big huge fan of that Kimmy Brunner chickee and of course who does not love Karen McTavish? We are all so lucky to have this large support network that shares so we all get to be successful. :)

My thanks and big ((((hugs)))) to everyone for all the kind words of welcome!

I haven't named 'her' yet! And I am getting the 'nursery' ready. My Juki and Grace frame will be on ebay later.

Cleaning out lots of other stuff too. I have a 17' x 25' studio attached to my house, but with all the random junk in there I have to make more room. The Millie is considerably bigger than the Grace frame!

We live in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, about 25 miles southeast of Cleveland.

I am also hoping to go to Manchester for MQX this year!

Thanks again for all your kind words!

Linnea,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Millie. I am going to MQX for the week. Closer to the time I plan to start a new post about meeting everyone from the forum on a particular time and day at the show. It will be so much fun to meet everyone.

Order in the groceries and meals! You'll be having so much fun (and frustration--expected) you'll won't want to spend time shopping or cooking (or cleaning) when you could be quilting!

Welcome and congratulations! I live on the northeast side of Columbus, Ohio and the NQs is a good show that is here sometime during the month of June. It is closer to home if that is an issue. Good luck naming your "baby" and having so much fun with her. Janet

Welcome to the forum and to happy parenthood. You'll love your Millie and playing with designs and threads. And what a nice, big "bedroom" she'll have. Take pics when you have everything set up so we can all drool over your space!

Congrats!!!!
