Busy Quilting
Sue Morris/Amy/ Chrsitie or Mark, I have a faint creaking noise from the lower table encoder box when I move the machine head towards the rear (last 3 " or so) of the carriage. ie when the machine head has the most weight over the rear of the table. It is audible when you are cleaning the tracks etc,, but would not usually be heard over the sound of the motor. It seems like the extra weight of the head at the rear is causing the encoder box to move?? or stress. Maybe I need to adjust it? If so how do I achieve that? Thanks Lyn Crump
smorris
Hi Lyn Check that the bolt that goes thought the wheel and the encoder box hasn't come loose, it sounds like the encoder is able to twist sideways a little. sue
