seanh
Hey, I'm new to this forum, my name is Sean. A bunch of friends and I started a quilting business and I just finished the website, wanted to know what you guys thought of it? http://www.quiltsareforever.com Thanks ! - Sean
Kathy D
Hi Sean, I like the website. The colors are very pleasing to the eye~nice and clean. My only constructive criticism would be that you might want to stop the links from bouncing when you run the mouse over them~maybe have them change colors or something. When you try to click on a new page it bounces away and I felt like I had to try to catch it. How did you determine pricing~are your prices in line with your area? I just quilted a memory quilt for a gal whose father passed away last year. She even had his socks in it! I hope your business does well!
ramona-quilter
Sean, I think that your web-site is well-designed and easy to navigate. All your buttons are easy to see; I had no "Where is..." questions when trying to find pricing or the gallery. I think people always want to see samples of your work, don't you? The quilts are beautiful. You might want to run that front page thru spell/grammar checker one more time. Pardon me, does that sound like your sophomore English teacher? Yikes. I have a few friends who have made t-shirt quilts. The stabilizer and fussy cutting certainly add to the work of quilt making. And of course, every one is an original, no cookie cutter quilts here. I think your business is going to be an immense hit. I would certainly market it to sports equipment stores and possibly Little League and Pop Warner football leagues. I think I might also drop a Memory Quilt brochure by the local sports pub, travel agent and daycare center. This is a great idea. I wish you and your cohorts every success. needlemagik
Hi Sean I agree your website is pleasing and warm. Wouldn't you also want to mention how the piece is quilted or the quilting design choices you provide for your customers? (I couldn't tell from the pictures). Wishing you good luck and success in your new venture!
BarbWetzel
Your Website is very nice... I just finished a couple of T-shirt memory Quilts for a friend of mine. One for her daughter was $300.00 and the one for her son was $400.00. It looks like your prices are right in line. They were both around Queen size.
