jane.hughes
I am on my second quilt and have blown three fuses which of course means I have to take the machine apart again. Can anyone tell me why I keep blowing fuses? I have a new needle in the machine so it's not dull. Suggestions would be appreciated Yes it is in a surge protected plug and the machine is new. I think I will call since I don't think fuses blow for no reason. Thanks
LinneaMarie
I hope your machine is plugged into a surge protector?? Turn everything off, and go to the breaker box and flip the switch a couple times; wait a second or two in between flips. Sounds crazy, but this is what fixed my oven that was "locked" for cleaning. Or maybe the plug is bumping lose from the socket. I'm sure you have checked all this stuff, just trying to help you.
Nadia Wilson
Your fuses should not blow for no apparent reason. Have you gotten a rag caught while cleaning? Are you replacing the fuses with the correct ones? Have you broken any needles? Is this a new machine? Where are you located? Do call Amy or Christie at APQS on Monday and go over this with them too.
