chickenscratch
Wilma, about 2 1/2 or so, I think
lizziesgirl
Teresa, Wouldn't it be 1 7/8 yard? You can get 4 blocks out of a WOF, 4 goes into 26 6.5 times, 6.5 X 10 = 65" divided by 36 = 1.81 yards. Anyway I'll find out when I cut mine. I'm going to post a picture first and see if you all approve of the batik I'm thinking of, its a blue and golden yellow.
sewhappy
We are headed out to the Rapid City Quilt show at the break of day tommorrow A.M. Back on Sunday-Will of course shop for "jewel tone batiks" while working the show and the stores to and from!! Between those choices AND the shop I work at the hardest thing for me will be WHICH batik to cut up into 10" squares and send off-LOL . I have already figured if I will buy more than the estimated 2 yards anyway!! LOL will send them off on Tuesday. Patty
Quilting Heidi
It is just under 2 yards. You should be able to easily get (4) 10" squares out of each 10" strip. Total of 7 strips for a total of 70" which comes out to 1.94 yards. You will end up with 2 extra squares for yourself too!
lizziesgirl
Wow Heidi I shouldn't be asleep when I figure up things. How am I suppose to get 6.5 strips...I would need to cut 7 then cut one in half...Wake up Sheryl.
