There was another one here of a DWR in gold satins and one made from a wedding dress. I just realized that I only have 2 years if I want to have one for my parents. Question? How did you attach the outer edges of the lace in the center of the quilt? It doesnt look quilted down, so maybe laid over the center fabric, sewn down at the edges then put into the pieced quilt? or Hand stitched at the outer edges? Thanks for any teqnique secrets. I recently finished a wedding quilt for a distant relative, and I know how much of yourself you put into something like this. Congratulations on their 50 years of wedded bliss.
