Pictures of a friend's quilt

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone for you nice feedback. The quilting was just a puzzle meander which is what she wanted. I was hoping to use the CL Swirls or one of their other templates. I would have charged her the same amount, so money wasn't the deciding factor, but she loves a basic meander.

Sylvia, the quilt on my wall with the yellow background was just lots of multi colored pieces of fabric made into 9-patches, with a sashing and corner stones around them. They were set on point. There are two shades, a light and a darker, of the gold background. The lighter gold is the squares in the middle and the darker gold is the setting triangles around the perimeter. Then, there are three borders. The 9-patches are 3" sewn, in size, so I cut the strips 1.5" to start. I hope this helps. If you need more detailed directions, please send me a U2U or an e-mail and I'll see if I can write out the directions for you.
