JudyL
This is the quilt being submitted by members of Alex Anderson's Message Board to the American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine for part of their breast cancer fund raiser auction. http://community.webshots.com/album/157059219EYepJG I was definitely wishing for the Millennium while quilting this one! LindaSusieQuilts
Judy. Is the back of that quilt also blocks or no batting and the color shows thru from front? beautifullllllllllllllllllllllllllll
JudyL
The color mainly shows through because I was outside and the sun was bright but even inside, you can see the colors through. I used a white on white backing because I wanted the quilting to show on the backing. I have many thread changes so the back is almost thread painted. LynnQuilts
Great job! I love the feathers. This is one you showed for "how would you quilt this." So it is good to see what you ended up doing with it! I love it, front and back!

Debbie Rolek
Judy, your quilting is outstanding. I am glad I also participated in the Quilt for a Cure-Breast Cancer quilt for American Patchwork and Quilting. It was a real feel good project for me. I did it was Breast cancer runs in our family, and I am happy I have not been cursed with it yet. The first one, I took 35 blocks and made it into a king size ribbon and then took information from the breast cancer site and incorporated it into the quilting. The second one I recruited another quilter to piece it together and quilted it. Mine do not compair to yours, but if you would like to view them they are in the "Charity 04" folder. http://community.webshots.com/user/debbierealquilts Thanks for sharing your work with us Judy.
