Friends for a Cure

The color mainly shows through because I was outside and the sun was bright but even inside, you can see the colors through. I used a white on white backing because I wanted the quilting to show on the backing. I have many thread changes so the back is almost thread painted.

Judy, your quilting is outstanding.

I am glad I also participated in the Quilt for a Cure-Breast Cancer quilt for American Patchwork and Quilting. It was a real feel good project for me. I did it was Breast cancer runs in our family, and I am happy I have not been cursed with it yet. The first one, I took 35 blocks and made it into a king size ribbon and then took information from the breast cancer site and incorporated it into the quilting.

The second one I recruited another quilter to piece it together and quilted it.

Mine do not compair to yours, but if you would like to view them they are in the "Charity 04" folder.

Thanks for sharing your work with us Judy.
