Mayuri21
I got a roll of Pellon 80/20 batting because I had to have some. I just put my first quilt on the machine using this batting, so I am not sure about it. I do know it does not have the loft of Hobbs. Will let you know when this one is finished. tsurich
I finished my 9 yard bolt of the 80/20 and I liked it a lot so ordered a roll. which just came. I order through Checker Distributors. Yes it doesn't have the loft but that is what I like about it. I like the old flat wrinkled look. Customers have mentioned they like that it isn't so heavy as W&N. By the way for me the price is lower than the other brands so I can sell it for less. MaggiS
ok, just when I think the choice of batting is between Hobbs and QD you throw another one into the fire. I can't make tops fast enough to try them all!!!!! Maybe I should steal some of your UFOs since I only have one Definitely looking for lighter and drapier than W&N
PeggyB
I have a roll of the 80/20 and it quilts nicely but has very little loft. I am thinking of mostly using it as a 2nd batt. I was wondering how to preshrink it? I have a front loading washer can I run it through the rinse cycle (no agitator) and then dryer, or just soak it in the tub and then dryer? Thanks, PeggyB
