Grammie Posted April 20, 2006 Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 Ok, I'm alitte frustrated here so Bear with me I ordered all of Linda Lawsons Package and MANY of Keryn Emmerson's designs. I simply transferred the Email Attachments to CD's and I can see them on CD on my CQ Computer. I cannot get anything to open. I knew Emmerson were going to DXF files and thought Linda's would open right up. I am not sure what I'm doing now. If this is simple I'm probly just making it harder than it is. Grammie Posted April 20, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 I did not have them extracted before copying to CD. Once I extracted I am now able to save them as cmd files. Thanks. TinaCollins Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 You might need to "unblock" the designs when you extract the zip files.... Clicl on the proprties tab ans see if the box next to unblock is checked This is a computer settings adjustment and has nothing to do with the pattern files... TinaCollins Posted April 22, 2006 Report Share Posted April 22, 2006 Sorry that last post was so brief... I was just on my way out the door, but wanted to try and help you before I left.... I discovered this a few years ago when I had the same thing happen to me.... It doesn't happen very often, but every once in a while I still have to do this before I can get to the files. I remember that I have to click on the whole folder after I had extracted it and then my computer "unblocked" all the files inside.
