Linda G. Craig
Bobbi, your quilting is absolutely stunning! What a gorgeous quilt. I love it! Gotta put it in my "favorites" too! Good luck with the binding. Let us know how it all goes.
Judi
Very pretty quilt - I hope you are able to solve the problem. Just beautiful!!! I hope you are able to send it to a show..... Thanks for posting this though - I really to like how you finished the edge and it is nice to know about this possible problem ahead of time...... we all live and learn! bobbi
I just ordered new rick rack. I think I'll stableize it with the piping before I apply it the next time! I know I have time to fix it before the Cortland show, but I don't know if I have the energy as I have another custom designed quilt that has to be done by October! We'll see! Bekah
Bobbi sending you good wishes for lots of energy and time so you can get this redone in time for the show because it surely deserves to be there and then it will have ribbons hanging from it:D
bobbi
AAAWWWW , Thanks you guys! I'm working on it! I'll take off the binding, piping and rick rack this weekend. Hopefully my new rick rack will arrive and I can get it put back together! I think everyone liked it last night at our guild meeting, but they sympathized too! meg_marsh
Sorry you have to rip Bobbi, but personally, I am glad you are going to fix it completely. The quilt is so pretty and you have done such a nice job............. You don't want to look at it all the time and be bugged by the edges. You will be so happy when you are all done!!!!!
