I am going to be doing a t-shirt quilt, which is not a problem. But, one of the shirts has a plastic like film over the design. I have not quilted on one of these before and wonder how it will quilt, will I have holes or does it quilt differently? If anyone has done one of these I would love to hear how you did it.

Thanks for any help. Barbara in MI

I was afraid to quilt it!! I tacked down a few places with hand stitching ( over a face) so that it was secured but not sewn with a line of stitching. The plastic I was working with was shiny, it scared me. It had been washed so I thought it would be ok in a quilt that was going on a wall....Good luck, Pat:cool:
