ETownsend
Hi everyone. I just finished a quilt called Early Morning Madness. I started this about a year ago and worked on it primarily between 4 AM and 6 AM before work. Hence the name. I trapunto flowers in the sashing, border and center blocks as well as embroidered and hand painted. Quilting is not as good as I would have like, but I keep working on that. mswings
Well, done Evelyn. Love your quilt. I'm still trying to learn basic stuff like CC, SID etc. I wonder if I'll ever be able to do feathers much less trapunto. Wow, I'm impressed. ETownsend
Lisa, it is my own design. I created the embroidered panels from various patterns that I had over the years with the Bernina Designer Plus software. The quilting patterns are from EQ6. The flowers on the border blocks and sashing are my design. I sort of made it up as I went as each phase presented itself. I did some of the trapunto on the Millie and some on my Bernina. It depended on which machine was available at the time!
