Katydids
This was a fun quilt yet a challenge. Fun cause it had lots of great quilting space but challenging because of all the bias. It was larger in the center of the quilt and did not want to unroll evenly from the top roller. Part of the way through I ended up just floating the whole top and lots and lots of steaming! I went with a leaf theme based on the fabric rather than feathers. I used Keryn Emmersons Ground cover and it worked great with the fabric. Katydids
And the back. I wish I had used a different thread on the front as the quilting doesn't show that much, at least not in the picture. You can see alot of texture in person. Gina
Hi Patty, That is simply stunning. The leaves are gorgeous. Did you make that quilt or is it someone else's? Gina in waterlogged Massachusetts:)
bstucker
Hi Patty, The quilt looks fantastic! I like how you used portions of the pattern and then stippled around it. The large cross-hatch looks really good too!

chickenscratch
It's gorgeous. How did you do the leaves? Was that a panto or did you mark the top? I love the cross-hatching. Teresa Taylor www.chickenscratchquilting.com

Maureen
What a creative use of the Ground Cover pantograph. That is really excellent. I would never have thought to do something like that. Great job! Beautiful execution.

Katydids
Thank you all for taking the time to look and for the nice comments. I have learned so much from being a part of this forum, you all are great!!!!!! Gina - It is a customers quilt. Teresa - I didn't mark anything except the diagonal lines in the inner border. I used a panto for the leaves. Thanks again, Patty
ramona-quilter
Patty, It looks great. That know just pops out of there. I love the elegant but simple lines thru the knots, it really draws your . eye. And the leaf motif in the corners is very nice. Thanks so much for sharing. Your work is inspiring.
