Butterfly
Has anyone used this Glide thread? The price is good. Just want to know if the thread works well on our machines. Jessica
srichardson
It is great thread. If you check for the thread on this site about the Magna Glide bobbins you will find there are some more comments about the thread and what a great company Bobbin Central is to work with. If you create an account on their site you can get a free sample pack of thread and bobbins. Sue
Myrna Ficken
I love it Jessica. Met them in Houston. I just finished a quilt with it.
Georgene
Jessica, Here's the link to a current discussion on that thread -- particularly the bobbins. http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=19607
srichardson
Jessica, This is the thread that I mentioned. I couldn't find it when I first answered you. This is in addition to the thread that Georgene posted above which also has good information. http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=19672&page=1#pid234080 Sue

Katydids
Well, I guess I am the oddball here. I bought some and tried it and it never broke, but my bobbin thread kept breaking (I was running so fine in the bobbin), which I have never had a problem with. Have not tried their bobbins yet. The thread also did not feel as smooth as the Isacord. I'll give it another try, but for $1.00 more per cone, I'll probably stick with the Isacord. Merryjo2003
I use it and love it! I haven't used the bobbins yet, but hear they're good, too. I don't get breakage at all. The thread has a nice sheen, no varigated as of yet. Tried to get people hooked on this thread months ago, but not much response. I'm glad people are trying it and liking it! JudyLee
I use the magna glide bobbins and absolutely swear by them. I get good tension, no backlash and the thread seems to disappear on the back of my quilts. It's lovely stuff. Judy Z Owned by a Millie.
Guest Linda S
I use it and absolutely love it. I just finished a quilt where all the thread was Glide except for the black I needed (didn't have Glide in black). I used So Fine for the black and it looks so drab and ugly by comparison. I quickly remedied the situation and bought some black Glide and bobbins. Ah, life is good again (plus, it was my last quilt to do before Christmas!!). PattyJo
I love Glide thread. I've tried the bobbins along with So fine on top, then glide on top along with a glide bobbin. LOVE IT. My GiGi runs so smoothly with them. I would highly recommend it.
