yankiequilter
This is a scrap quilt that I made as a community quilt and used the Star Dance template to quilt it. What a great template for quickly quilting this, or a kid's quilt, patriotic or quilt of valor! I had a plan for assembling the blocks but I must have taken a nap while piecing because the quilt doesn't look like I had planned! I've already donated the quilt so don't know the exact size but estimate 72" x 90". Front Back

Betsy
I haven't posted in quite awhile but thought I would show a couple of Circle Lord quilts I have done. Name of Quilt is "Three Moons". It is an original quilt using pre-printed witch panels. Pieced by Patsy Brice, quilted by Betsy Smith using the giant swirls template. The quilt measures 50"x57". I love how the swirls in the quilting pattern accentuate the action in the panels. I used a plum colored King Tut thread.

yankiequilter
I was preparing to quilt this French Braid quilt when the Circle Lord Challenge was presented and I decided to use the 7 Treasures of Buddha templates for the first time. As always, quilting with the CL templates was quick and easy. The challenge was to get creative with the CL templates and when I looked at the quilting I immediately saw butterflies! Each butterfly is is different, and along the borders I used an element from the Clam Shells templates and embellished them with swirls. The quilt pattern is from the "French Braid Quilts" book by Jane Hardy Miller and the quilt dimensions are 55" x 70" Showing partially quilted Treasures Quilt top Close up Border Last one - the back looks pretty, too
Georgene
Oh my, you've really stepped the challenge up a notch. This is so unique and creative, and yet doable.......I hope.
lyonden
Really great quilting going on here. But, when taking pictures, it would help to kind of angle a light from the side to highlight your quilting if possible. Even in your own webshots or photos you show customers, you need to highlight your wonderful work more than the actual quilt. You are selling your ability, and want to highlight that. Keep up the great work.
Mary Beth
Carmen, that is exactly what I was thinking of when I first posted this challenge. I also had that template in mind. There are so many open spaces that are just begging to be filled. You did a great job on this one. There are just so, so many possiblities when you use the CL templates. You all are really creating a spark of inspiration to make other realize, they have the tool all they need to do is use their imagination and some creativity. Please keep these pictures coming. Georgene
Since no one has posted a quilt using the Water Template, I thought I'd post this Halloween Quilt with the Spider (from the Small Feathered Wreath template), which I stitched on the quilt at several locations. I also stitched the fly (from that same template) with the spider, but this was the best closeup shot. Quilter: Georgene Huggett Piecer: Deb Girton Pattern and designer: All About Me by Terry Atkinson Size: 54" x 66" CL Templates used: Water and Small Feathered Wreath

Believe it or not there are over 550 circles on each quilt, ranging in size from 3/4" to 5"."
