ellsan
What kind and size clamps does one use if your machine has no vertical channel lock? Thanks
Bonnie
On my old machine I used clamps that were the same as my edge clamps, it just didn't have a cord attached. Lowe's have then the cost about $2 per clamp they have orange handles. Use whatever you can squeeze, it doesn't need to be a strong strong clamp. CrazyAboutQuilting
I have two small clamps that my DH gave me that were too small for him to use with his woodworking. He had gotten a whole set of different sizes. I'm guessing they are about 3 inches tall. I have used them frequently since I don't have channel locks on my 10 ft. Lenni table and they work GREAT for both horizontal and vertical lines. If you would like, I could take a couple pictures of them and post them so you can see what works for me. Sharon M
I have heard that some people simply use fold-back clips, or maybe they're called bull clamps.... you know, the kind for clamping small stacks of paper.... You can pick them up at Staples or any other stationery dept.... Walmart has them too. And they're really cheap!
ellsan
I tried those small clips, and they were not strong enough to hold the machine stable. I would really appreciate pictures. Regards. Sandra
diane Bevans
I use the large paper clamps and have been using it for 5 years, with no problems as I have the Liberty and no locks.

Sandra Darlington
I used the large binder clips and put batting between the metal clips and the rails as padding because I was afraid of scratching the rails.
