Busy Quilting
Shannon, I've just searched out my Marti Michell template sets B & D. I wont' even need to do the maths now to cut them out as they are designed for this block. Found the fabrics, my DH is off to the hardware store. Free time to cut them out. witha'K'quilting
what's the fun in that Shannon? just kidding. If you noticed...I called mine my teaser block! Doesn't mean it is one of the set I am sending!
Busy Quilting
I have stitched two blocks. Played in EQ6 redrawn the block and worked out a setting with lots of intermingled blocks. Coloured it in, added a couple of borders, some quilting stencils etc SO in my mind my quilt is finished! witha'K'quilting
Lyn...how many blocks are you thinking of making? Or sets rather..remember 12 blocks per set. I am hoping to add some other blocks from a long ago swap for my border. This is going to be great!
Busy Quilting
My design ended up with a 5x7 arrangement so 35 blocks. 12 of the spring swap, each of these is separated by another block made up of elements of the Spring Swap block. If I continue with the green in the same place in the separating blocks it will provide some continuity. I thought I would make them of a similar colouring and scrappy to the exchange. I really don't have time but it was a nice break from foundation piecing 2" blocks for the LQS class, and the WBHQ. Besides I won't get the swap blocks until after the WBHQ is finished, then they can be my new challenge. Lyn
