Toni123
Love that quilt. Any chance a pattern is available or did he just decide to combine to different types of blocks and run w/it?

pfrost
It's a lovely quilt. He certainly is creative with his color choices, fabrics & pattern--more so than I. Thank you for sharing this piecer's quilt. He'll be flattered that it was so well received! Pat AZ:cool: Mille
longarmlisa
The pattern is called Kensington Kaleidoscope by Marilyn Foreman (Quilt Moments). Blue Bamboo in Plymouth, MN sells beautiful kits which you can purchase online. I bought a kit and am in the process of making one that contains photograph as well for my parent's 50th. Very Cool. longarmlisa
Oh and forgot to mention that it is very easy and a lot of fun to make. My parent's quilt has pictures that are all in the same tone of sephia and all the fabrics have gold in them. I purchased all that fabric from Blue Bamboo also. jeanmezera
I just love the 4-patch posie. so easy this should be a class for 4-h children, I bet boys would like to sew also if they could make a quilt for themselves. Thanks for sharing Jean:)

longarmlisa
Shana: The quilt is turning out great. The fabrics that I choose are all Robert Kaufman and my main fabric has a black background w/florals in blue/grays, greens and brown/tans. My sister has an art printer and has been able to take all the picture and keep them in the same color tones. I am having a blast making it. Have fun w/yours.
