seakitten
I forget -- which side of the batting is "up"? Most of the batts I use it doesn't make much difference, but I am just setting up a king-size Warm & Natural, & I do notice a big difference between the 2 sides, so I want to get it right. Thanks. DawnCavanaugh
Catherine, The "dirty side" is the right side. Look for little flecks of brown to distinguish the dirty side.
yankiequilter
The rough side goes toward the backing. You should have dimples on the top, against the quilt top, and bumps on the bottom, against the batting. Not a very technical description, but it works for me to remember which way is up.
