quiltinginthecountry
Before I decided to ask you for help, I went through the "help forum pages". My machine just came back from APQS and the problem has not been resolved. Here it is and I'm keeping it short: 1) Turn on machine, lock H-lock, sew vertical, turn off h-lock, turn off machine. 2) Wait 8hrs, turn machine on, h-lock light does not come on. 3) Turn on machine, lock H-lock, sew vertical, turn off h-lock, turn off machine. Turn on machine "NEXT DAY", H-lock light ON. APQS mailed me a "grounding wire" which my hubby installed following the instructions. The machine stands on carpeting. The rails are spic & span, I follow all maintenance procedures. Does somebody out there have an answer. I did email Christy and Amy but it's the weekend. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
jmcclannan
My horizontal lock pops on every time I turn my machine on. Amy says it's a grounding issue and it doesn't really cause a problem. I'm just in the habit now of turning the horizontal lock off whenever I turn my machine on. I figure it's just one of my machine's quirks. I have a few quirks myself so we get along just fine. shirleyl
I had that problem. Mine was static. I just put a humidifier in the room and I don't have that problem anymore. Dry Wyoming air I guess. Shirley
