Legacy batting? Wool batting?

I am a huge fan of QD products and the wool is wonderful!!!

We have used almost all the brands including Legacy. It is a good batting, but found the cotton batting was very, very linty and stretches easily. So we have not reordered!!! The wool and 80/20 was ok.

We still really prefer QD and Hobbs, as well as Warm & Natural as it is requested by our clients.

Babs:  I use Hobbs legacy wool all the time for my long arm work.  Haven't done any hand quilting so no experience there, but I'd guess it would work fine.  BTW, I love if for long arm work.  My favorite batting.  Jim

Sorry, you're right Cagey.  I use Heirloom, buy it by the roll.  The 96" comes in a 30 yd roll, and the 110" comes in a 25 yd roll.  I don't buy the single batts or the small yardage offerings.  Jim

Jim,

Thank you for the clarification.  I normally buy my Hobbs wool in the half roll, folded up in a large bag since I use a George.  There is usually a show in the area that sells it in that manner.
