gable428
I'm finally going to use my CL feather border on a real quilt. Can someone tell me how to find the center of the template? I thought the center would be where the center post is, but it seems to be off. Thanks!!
yankiequilter
Gable, you orient the template horizontally left to right in the position you want the border to start. There are two holes for the center post, one when the feathers go left to right, the other is used by turning the template around 180 degrees and the feathers go right to left. Then use the slide arm to help move the template closer to the position you want to start, and rotate a bit more to get it exact. Make sense? I haven't had much coffee this morning. Do you have the set up instructions that were included with the template?
gable428
Hi Carmen. I did get the instructions, but wasn't sure about marking holes, etc. Your reply is super helpful. Thanks so much!!
