We all know how difficult a poorly pieced Lone Star can be but this lady is a meticulous piecer. Her top was a joy to quilt. Square, flat and perfect! It is a big one, though! HUGE even! I used Quilter's Dream poly/cotton blend and I think it is now my favorite batt. Sew Fine on the top, bottom line on the bottom. I used rose leaf design set from One Song Needle Arts because my client didn't want traditional quilting on this one. She wanted it to be as outdoorsy as possible and more contemporary in style. A fellow friend up here has a Statler and she buys a lot of designs from One Song and they are all so pretty.
