JustSewSimple
OMGosh! I could kiss those faces off! Sooooo dear! In my old age I must get animals that are tiny enough not to make much pee for me to clean and tiny enought ot fit in my pocket on trips! Champ and Daisy are killing me. Champ got a bath at 9 and by 11 needed another one. Daisy is a little pig (like me, her mom!). The next one will be itty bitty. Thanks so so much for the pictures! That sleepy on is my favorite! Nate looks like he is a bit put off by the others who have not so much hair! Ha!

Linda G. Craig
Cheryl, what a beautiful daughter you have -- and such a dear photo of her with the pup. I love your chi's. As a little girl we had a long hair chi, his name was Chico, and I used to dress him in doll clothes and push him around in my doll carriage. He was such a smart little dog and so faithful. I can see why you love chi's so much. Thanks for sharing!
nora123
OMG they are so cute!!!. I lost my baby girl last month and am waiting for my puppy to be ready to pick up. She is a brindle french bull dog. Her name is Gacie Mae. I will post pic when she comes home. I just love all you little cutties. Nora

kennan100
I've htought for years that I would like tohave another pup like the one I had when I was a kid, a Chi/ Toy Fox mix. But lately I'm thinking Great Dane. I might need a service dog, a Dane would be big enough for me to lean on, and help me get up when I fall, or just get up period! i think I might do it someday! Stagecl
Nora, I am so sorry to hear that you lost your pup. It is so hard because they are family. I am glad that you are getting a new puppy. Please do post a picture. Kenna, A Great Dane is huge...I think it would knock me over. Labs also make great service dogs too. Linda, Nate doesn't like to be dressed up. But it was a Christmas picture.
kennan100
The Christmas pics are so cute! They didn't show when I looked at this before! I love Nate and the ornament! Can imagine all of them together, a whole lap full of cuddle! Yeah Danes are huge, but they don't require a lot of exersize, which I can't do, and are good apartments dogs because they are so low energy. Plus at 5'10 I'm not so small myself. I've had labs, and my sister has a golden. Sarah is my therapy dog for now, I call my sister and tell her I'm coming over for Sarah time. I get there and we cuddle for hours on the couch...she gets in my lap and pins me to the couch for hours!
lyonden
Hi Cheryl - I got to meet your babies while you lived here. They are soooo cute. Both my daughters have chi's and they are just lovable. Here's a picture of my daughters "Annabelle" sitting on her heating pad with my little great grandaughter Briley Jo.
Stagecl
Carol. Your picture is priceless and adorable! Kenna, If I sit down anywhere in the house my lap is fair game and instantly swarmed by my chi's. They love to be held and be as close as they can be. I am only 5'2" so you have a tad bit more height than I do:P so that is probably why a Great Dane would take me out:P:P:P We didn't buy the reindeer antlers for JoJo but couldn't resist trying them on her:D

kennan100
oh! She looks so much like the pup I had as a kid! Mine as half Toy Fox so she wasn't quite so "round" looking and had the brown eyebrows that the Foxes have.
Linda G. Craig
Oh Carol, you made me cry! What a sweet picture and gorgeous GGD!
lyonden
Cheryl, I called my other daughter who also has a chi. She has a picture of her little one named of all things Hank. When he was a little guy (pup) he picked up a piece of dry dog food for the large dogs and his face hit the ground and his behind went up in the air and he still wouldn't let go. It was way too funny. Hope she finds the picture. They all think they're huge.
Stagecl
Carol, That is way too funny. But I can see it happening! We figured that Jo Jo was all of 2 Tbsp of dog when born so even at 8 weeks anything would be huge, even large dog kibble:P:P:P
lyonden
Drats, she can't find the picture and thinks it's one of the videos she has. I thought she sent me the picture but maybe I saw it at her house. It was sooo funny. By the way, he runs the house and the other two dogs are a lab mix and a beagle. He doesn't know he's little. smorris
Hi Cheryl Where can you get the costumes? My son and daughter in law have a Boston/pug cross that looks almost identical to JoJo who loves to be dressed up. She is called Bruiser, but it doesn't suit her at all as she is a really Sweetie. Marie (daughter-in-law) loves to shop online for doggie outfits. Marie's mum (Marilyn) lives with them and she is terminally ill. She'd never had a dog until David moved in and now Bruiser and Marilyn are inseparable. On Sunday night Bruiser stayed beside her all night before Marilyn was taken to hospital in the morning. She's even mentioned on Marilyn's medical notes as part of the family - "beloved Bruiser". Being small she has even been allowed into hospital for visits as she really lifts Marilyn's spirits. I'll try to post a photo of her later, she is so ugly, in a cute sort of way.
