RitaR
Well! guess I need to join in on this thread. first I have a wee little machine which I think is 5 by 7" runs on battery's and while it has a pretty good stitch, the gals at guild complain that it's too noisy,, it's not noisy, it just sounds disgusting after a while. Then I have: 2, Brother 3, Bernette H 70 4, Singer Serger, 5, New Home Treadle, for sale.. from 1920-1930. 6, Wizzard 7, Singer 99K from mid 50's. 8, Viking D1 USB 9 Lenni Penny. 10, Old stretched DMQS... for sale. I think that is all now.. that I can think of I mean. ROFL lol tickles me to see others with more than 2 or 3 counting the long arm.. RitaR I have two dead

bobbi
I've sewn with my Singer 403 Slantomatic for 46 years... I never wanted another machine... I like that it's all metal... But now that I'm older I can't carry it around like I could before... So, I purchased a little Brother - my Christmas present from mom... So that's two, plus my Ultimate 1 and then I also have my Great Grandma Miller's old Singer treadle... I guess I actually have 4. I love the embroidery stitches on my little Brother... but it's not good for heavy sewing....
marycontrary
And I was feeling soooooo guilty and planning to sell some of my machines. Looks like I'm not as ill as some of you, so now I can keep them all! 1 Singer 221 Centennial 1 Singer 221 White 1 Singer 301 Tan 1 Pfaff 1171 1 Bernina 1000 1 Bernina 1008 (actually my daughter's, but it lives at my house) 1 Bernina 153 1 Bernina 1090 1 Janome 6500 1 Bernette Serger 1 Bernette (301??) embroidery only machine 1 Wilcox and Gibbs 1 Freedom SR And I've really been thinking I might need a Juki TL98Q or Brother PQ1500 for domestic style machine quilting. Anybody have any experience with these two? More room under the head of the machine is one of the reasons I bought the Janome 6500, but I hate the drop-in bobbin.
