And they wouldn't let us anywhere near the volcano, so I didn't get to whip out my quilt square and toast it over the lava - hey, that would be a perfect use for lava thread.......:cool: Catherine showed us a wonderful day around her much-loved island - even had a visit to a couple of quilt shops! Kudos to my DH, Mike, for riding in the back seat (ALL day) without any complaint, and even coming into the quilt shop and saying I wasn't buying enough! Mahalo nui loa, Catherine! And je t'aime, chere Michel.... P.S. And yes, Lynda, this trip was tax-deductible on soooo many levels! And we're staying in a free condo - could a trip to Paradise get any better?
