Lib
I have just about finished sewing and quilting a quilt for a client made out of her Gramma's old curtains. AAARRRGGG! Anyway, she would like me to do a label but for the life of me I can't come up with anything appropriate to put on it. I could only find one saying "Grandmas hold our tiny hands for just a little while, but our hearts forever" Has anyone any ideas? Lib

Melanie Rouse
How about simply, "A quilt made from Grandma's curtains"? Won't leave future generations guessing.
Lib
Thanks Melanie and Madelyn. I love the "Looking through the windows from Grandma to me" but I also like the simple A quilt made from Grandma's curtains. If I get the name of Kate's Gramma, I can put her name on with whichever saying I use. Lib

rlhdesigns
You could make your lable look like a curtain & put your say in the center of the window.......what a great way to use grandma's curtains. I love "Looking through the windows from Grandma to me" I could just visualize my grandma looking at me.
Jhend
IMO I would ask the customer to write it and I would make it. It's her relationship with her grandmother that should be speaking.
Chocoholic
I would use both "Looking through the windows from Grandma to me" but I also like the simple A quilt made from Grandma's curtains. That kind of says it all.
JollyJane
As it is the customer who wants the label why not tell her the suggestions that you have from this wonderful forum - and get her to choose what she wants!!? Or ask her for a quote of her own - somethign her Grandma used to say to her .... whatever!! Just a thought!
Lib
This is such an awsome forum. You all come up with such great ideas. I think I shall go back to Kate with all these suggestions and see which one she likes best. Lib
