marycontrary
A few years back, when I first got my longarm, I had a 10 foot frame. Bought a machine and a quilt set of zippers for it (108"), but never installed them. I have since switched to a 12 foot frame and finally installed a 12 foot machine set (126") on it. My questions is, can I use the 108" zippers as quilt sets on the 12 foot frame? Especially since most quilts will be smaller than 108"? The only downside I can see is that the quilt would lie a little to the left of center on the frame, but would this really be bad? It would still be square and straight. Hope I explained this OK and that it is not clear as mud.
Sheri Butler
I'd think you could use it, it just wouldn't be centered on your frame is all. I dont see any reason why you couldn't use them. Especially for table toppers, etc.!!
Hollyrw
As long as the zippers on the front and back rollers start on the same side of the frame, i.e. the left side, I think it would be fine.
Myrna Ficken
Yes you can interchange . Make sure you pat a 12' set on your leaders though.
marycontrary
Thanks everyone! I did put a 12 foot set on the table, so I should be set to go!
