quiltaholi_518
I have someone dropping off a large quilt for custom quilting on Monday, and guess where she heard about me? IMQA has a listing of members who quilt professionally on their website, and this client decided to research based on a quilter's membership in a professional trade organization. She stumbled on IMQA, and Voila! It will be over a $300 job, so I think I have more thatn paid my $35 membership. So those of you having trouble getting business, this is money well spent! Not to mention you can sign up in advance for classes at MQS in the spring!

Guest Linda S
I've been a member of IMQA for two years and, to my knowledge, I've never gotten a quilting job because of it. Linda
quiltaholi_518
Linda, You have to ask to have yourself put on their referral list. Not everyone that joins quilts for others, so you have to request to be on that list, and they will link to a website if you have one...... http://www.imqa.org/Businesses.htm
Guest Linda S
Well yes, I checked, and I am on that list. Never brought me any jobs. I'm glad it worked out for you though! Linda
