livismom
Hi! This looks very much like the fabric line called Crazy for Hearts and Stars by Buggy Barn (Henry Glass & Co) from about 5-6 years ago. I looked in my stash but I don't have a match for you. Good luck with your search!! Nicole

Katydids
Can't help you with the name, but I just quilted a quilt that had that fabric in Black with gold stars. Sorry that was no help!
Front Porch Quilting
Well doggone it Patty thanks anyway, I sure hope I can find some as I have 3/4ths of it attached. Lesson learned when someone cuts and sends the binding measure it before you start putting it on, don't assume there is enough!
witha'K'quilting
since the customer did not send enough...maybe suggest inserting a second fabric for the second half of the binding. i do this all the time. i rarely ever use one single piece of fabric for the binding. it adds interest to the quilt! just a thought. I am quoting Kristina here, both for her good advice and to emphasize the first seven words... This is your customer's problem that you are kindly taking on and stressing yourself over. You are waaaaay kinder than I am. If there are extenuating circumstances we know nothing about, don't wait for a miracle--either take off the binding and replace with something else, or charge her for what you have done and send it on its way. If this is old fabric, only a miracle will put some in your hands--and even then it might not match. Good luck in the search and bless your kind heart for helping your customer--above and beyond! lsequilter
Here's a portion of November's newsletter from Bob of Superior Threads. It may be just what you need, Linda Esenbock WISE WORDS FROM MOTHER SUPERIOR. There is a fantastic new website created by Websites For Quilters that helps me find specific fabrics. FindMyFabric.com is an innovative fabric search engine that finds fabric and quilting supplies from hundreds of online quilt stores. You can search for products by either typing in words or by uploading a photo from a digital camera. If you use a photo, the search engine uses image recognition technology to find matching fabrics. Why is this so cool? Imagine you ran out of a specific fabric and need a little more to complete your quilt. However, you don't know the name of the manufacturer, collection, or designer of that print. Local quilt shops have run out of it or don't carry that line and you are pulling your hair out looking for it. Before you go bald and your family goes crazy living with a must-find-that-fabric quilter, try FindMyFabric.com. Take a picture of the fabric, upload it, and within seconds locate an online retailer that has the fabric in stock. I love it! Any store that sells fabric and quilting-related products online can submit their products free of charge to FindMyFabric.com.

quiltlover03
Ha LinneaMarie, you beat me to it. If you cannot find the fabric, how about just using black for the binding...would make a wonderful contrast to the border.....just a thought.
