Wannabelongarm
I need to adjust my needle up, needle down. It is supposed to go down and stop, and then when your push the button again come back up? Right? Mine does a complete cycle, goes down, then comes up. I can't find the thread that describes how to adjust this-can someone please direct me there? Thanks so much. Joanne, aka wannabelongarm
Borderline Quilter
Hi Joanne There are clear instructions on how to do this in the maintenance DVD video that came with your machine....my needle up down does strange things when my machine is warmed up.....I'll get to it one of these days!!!! newmillie2010
i believe this requires adjusting the gold screw which is located on the left hand side (when facing the front of the machine), rear part of the machine. There is a black pull-out piece that when you remove it, there is the gold screw. A very tiny adjustment with your tiny screwdriver will fix your needle up/down. You might need a flashlight to see properly. At least this is how it is on the millennium. I was told that the needle up/down should be very slow. One thousand one...up....one thousand two ...down. Something like that. If i'm wrong, someone will jump in and explain.
fineseams
I have the single stitch on my Ultimate 1. I was told that it only does single stitch, not needle up/needle down. I think they call it stitch positioner.
ffq-lar
Easy fix! Make sure you warm up the machine before you make the adjustment.
