quilt glide/ stitch regulator

Quilt Glide sort of over-rides the stitch regulator. When you slow down, Quilt Glide keeps the needle moving slowly up and down, rather than the needle coming to a complete stop. It smooths out the stitching when doing micro work, so that you don't get those jerky feeling starts and stops. It acts like non-regulated mode, sort of.

I use mine all the time. I do lots of micro-work, and I really love it. You don't have the "pressure" of non-regulated mode..where you have to know exactly where you are going next and you have to be ready to push a button to stop stitching immediately.

Once you get used to using it, you will love it. I am very glad I chose that option. It does effect the number of stitches per inch if you are moving the machine VERY slowly, but once you pick up speed, the stitch regulator takes over and your stitches per inch will be whatever the SR is set at.
