He has circulation problems in his leg and a stent was placed in his right leg last spring after many foot sores and infections. Yes, he is diabetic. After the stent was placed - it was great, everything healed and he could feel his foot - for a while. His foot started feeling cold again and then the sores - Well a MRI showed the stent has collapsed/closed. So he is headed to the VA hospital in Madison, WI for surgery tomorrow (Tuesday). Should be in just over night. Please say a prayer to guide the doctors and this will not be a reoccurring thing. This forum is great - I think you all have tremendous prayers and healing effect!!!! **** The surgery is canceled as Dave is having some heart issues and he is in ICU. He is stable now. They know there is some heart damage and will be having a heart catherization tomorrow!! He started feeling "funny" about midnight ( he did have a heart attach about 15 years ago). It is not a heart attack, but his heart rate was about 190. They got it down about to normal about 7 this morning. They know from the tests today there is more damage, so they will run the rest of the tests tomorrow. Please pray for healing and patience!!!!
