Farmland Quilter
I have a customer bringing my first T-shirt quilt. Do you usually quilt through the T-shirts or do you only quilt in the borders around the T-shirt. I know a lot of people just do a meander but I haven't mastered that yet. I really am enjoying working with pantographs. Can't remember if its part of my signature but I use a Millenium with Bliss (love it, love it, love it!!!) JustSewSimple
I quilt mine just as I would any other quilt square. I quilt through everything there and it turns out perfectly! Just go for it.
Quilting Heidi
Cheryl I just did one for my DIL's brother and I quilted right through but I did do it using my Quiltazoid from the front. I used a spiral square board and just went slowly. There were a couple of shirts that caused issues but because I was right up-front I could handle it just fine. The hopping foot wanted to stick to the ones that had the rubbery feeling designs on them. Just go slow and you'll do just fine.
