Do you still like your Bliss upgrade?

Recommended Posts

Now that you've had your Bliss upgrade for awhile, especially you Millennium owners, do you still like it? Was it worth it? Is it really that much better than before? Any problems with the CL or the Hartley Fence?

My shoulder pain has disappeared. I quilt every day where before I took at least every third day off. It is soooo smooth. Diagonals are a breeze. Micro-stitching is easier and I can stitch longer. It is worth every penny to me.

I don't have a CL or Hartley Fence.

Bliss-ful since September 2009

I've had the Bliss system since August and am utterly sold! It was a lot of money all at once, but I can honestly say I'd do it all over again. The amount of time I save because I practically float across the quilt was surprising to me. I even bought a new timer, thinking that my old one must have been wrong. It wasn't!

As Linda said, the shoulder and back pain have vanished. I am able to quilt longer and more comfortably than ever before.

The best part of all is the quality of my work. I feel the Bliss has moved me to a whole new level--- circles are round, diagonals are do-able, stitch in the ditch is better. When I need to follow a tricky, tight design stencil, I am able to do it easily.

APQS team, many thanks for making me look good!

Send Lorraine Harnish an email. She has both on her machine. Also check with Lisa Mullins, she has both Bliss and the IQ, but not sure if they are on the same machine as she has multiple machines. You can find both on the Dealer webpage. Lisa in FL and Lorraine in PA.

I went from a 2005 Millie, added M&M wheels...huge difference. Then I sold the Millie and upgraded to a Freedom SR with Bliss....INCREDIBLE!! I only set up the Freedom Saturday, but I am in love!!! Well worth the extra dollars for the upgrade!

The Bliss is truely BLISS!!! It was well worth the money and it makes quilting with it so much more enjoyable... Best thing I purchased other than the Milli it self.

I just installed my Bliss last week. Practiced a few minutes, then did a customer's borders. I LOVE IT! I can't believe the difference in how easy it is to use, and how good my free motion looks. I had Millie with Edge Rider wheels. This is so much better. Haven't tried a Circle Lord tool with it yet, but I expect it will work just fine.

I have a system with Bliss and one without (computerized machine). I noticed that now when moving the system without Bliss, it feels like when you step out of the pool after a water aerobics class or I'm sure how astronauts feel after coming back from low gravity. Its just a lot more work to move the machine.

I love my Bliss!

Bliss has made a BIG difference in my quilting....It's effortless now. The longarm guild met last week for play time on Bliss and several APQS owners are now contemplating an upgrade! I have IQ as well but it's not on the Bliss machine, as I use that one mostly for custom work.

Bliss is worth every penny for me!

I added the Bliss and sent my Hartley Fence off for a small modification and it works great.. The whole thing was a 4 day turn around, and $45.00 for the modification...I was so glad that Hartley got it back so quick because I use the HF all the time. It makes fab, fast borders with no marking.:P

I've been considering the Bliss upgrade and wondered about the Hartley Fence. I love the HF and use it a lot. I like the large circles. Do you think my machinist husband could make the modifications on the HF if I upgrade?
