Beachside Quilter
Just finished this quilt; one panto in the middle, SID on both sides of the brown inner border, and another panto on the three outer borders. It is queen sized, and I did all the SID without a ruler. My new Bliss is wonderful; just kept a slow steady speed. Glided along like butta'. Beachside Quilter
Thanks, Sylvia. This is a customer quilt. Just scraps she had leftover from other projects. She wanted the double panto; I'm happy that she was pleased with it. I love all the earthy fabrics.

Beachside Quilter
Thanks, Linnea and Dell! No worry about hitting the ruler with the hopping foot. I just spread the ditch open with my left hand and steered with my right. Easy peasy!

Beachside Quilter
Cher: First time for me to use two pantos on the same quilt, too! I lined up the body of the quilt with the first panto and marked the inner boundaries with painter's tape on the panto plastic. I used an erasable marker to fill in the pattern to make a complete "leaf" when starting and stopping the pattern. Then I SID the inner brown border. The outer panto was a bit harder because it was a double row panto but I needed to add another 1/2 row to fill the entire borders. Going around the corners gave me the most trouble. Glad this one is done and the customer loved it!
