That's my kind of play! Sophie is certainly learning the importance of fabric! She is beautiful.

That reminds me of the time my granddaughter and her little friend got in my stash to make clothes for their troll dolls! I was not happy when I found holes cut in the middle of my fabric! Funny now but not so much then. Your baby is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Mine is 37.

Oh, teach her to sew! She will love it. What a wonderful bond to have between you, along with the usual mother-daughter love.

When I was growing up, 9 years old, I use to play with my mother's scraps of fabric too. I made doll clothes from them and I have been sewing ever since. It's great to see a child interested in what we do. She'll grow up to be a great quilter like mom.

Thanks everyone! Sophie is almost 2 1/2, the youngest of 5 kids, and she is really wonderful! Even with tantrums and such. When she was a baby we called her cupcake because she just adds lots of sweetness to our family. :)

Aaaahhhh, what a treasure!

Mine's almost 23 & has no idea how those quilts are made but loves hers. Meanwhile Dad has finished piecing his first, is working on his 2nd & has designed his 3rd. What have I unleashed?......
