Sylvia
I attended a couple of classes taught by Sue Patten at Matt's studio in Edmonton, a couple of hours away from my home. They were very good - four hours of instruction, at least three hours of time on the machines. It was a great way to learn new techniques. I look forward to the possibility of returning for future classes. Sylvia
Pennyquilts
Sounds like a great time Sylvia. Can't wait to see what you have learned on up and coming quilts.
Wannabelongarm
I was there this afternoon for a workshop on background fillers -- lots and lots of fun, new fillers, did it all in UN regulated mode, so that was great to learn, going back for 'Plunk and Play' tomorrow afternoon. Also got to Sue's trunk show at the Sherwood Park Quilt quild meeting on Thursday-her thread art is amazing! We are only limited by our imagination. WOW! We are so fortunate to have her come to our area. It is great inspiration. Matt and Bradie are bringing more quilters/teachers to the Edmonton area. Deloa Jones is next! Can hardly wait! Quilting Heidi
Glad you had a great time. Love Sue and Deloa. I've had classes with both of them and you can't go wrong.
Sandra Darlington
Sylvia, glad you had such a good time and learned lots of cool things. I've had classes with DeLoa and Sue, and love them both. I was only in Edmonton once, about 7 years ago, or so. I would love to see Matt's studio and take classes there, but it is a bit far for me.
