witha'K'quilting Posted March 21, 2011 Report Share Posted March 21, 2011 the personal photo is called an avatar...and you add it under user control panel...avatar. topics are brought to the top of list in the order in which they are posted...or a reply is made. Bonnie Posted March 21, 2011 Report Share Posted March 21, 2011 Note your Avatar photo must be first stored on a HTML site, if your don't have a personal website.... most of us here, either use Webshots or Flicker....once its stored, you can then upload it to your profile. jans Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 I have tried and tried to upload my avator with no success. Just tried Flickr last night. What size does it need to be? Do I use the url or html or bbc ? I have a Mac. Is that an issue? Any more advice would be appreciated. Otherwise I'll have to ask my kids for help, heaven forbid. meg Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 i just did this with my new mac so i can help you. first, open a webshots account. its free. then, you chose a pic that you would like to use as your avatar. once you have the pic up, go to edit, then export. i saved it in my photo booth, then went to webshots and uploaded it. after you upload it, copy the url and paste it in the avatar box on your user control panel. you have to be in the edit mode to paste it. the avatar cant be bigger than 100, i think. good luck. I recently purchased a Millenium (from source found on this fourm) and am trying to sale my Lenni. I thought a picture would be a good idea.
