dianne
Hi everyone, When you have monopoly on the top and bottom line in the bobbin and you want to tie your threads off - what is the best way to do it? I normally tie a knot close to the last stitch and pop it back thru the top into the batting. Will this work for these slippery threads? As always, thanks very much. Guest Linda S
Yep! Still works that way.
LinneaMarie
When I use Monlon I do not use slippery bottom thread. Maybe it's just me, but I like to use a thin cotton or even So Fine in the bobbin. Seems to hold onto the mono better.
ffq-lar
If you have concerns with Monopoly slipping out of the knot before or after burying, apply a tiny drop of Fray Check to the knot before burying. Let it dry well before you bury it and aim for inside the batting when you bury so any tiny hard knot from the Fray Check will be cushioned.
