LibbyG
Bev, That's a stunner! Did you use a saddle stool while you quilted? I got one after Jess posted that it was easier to do applique and she's right. You're right on top of that quilt and your back doesn't hurt as much. LFQuilts
I love your postdoc analogy. All future SID work that you do will seem easy after Dear Jane - and will benefit from what you learned ditching Dear Jane. Congrats on a job well done. suzanp
Wow:):)You are a very courageous gal, I would have looked at it for years!!! Beautiful job, and I am sure that the owner is in Heaven right now. Did you trace the scallops for her? Please post a picture when it is totally finished::
livismom
WOW! If it's not too late, could you pleeeeease post a pic of the back so we can see all of those stitches? It's a stunner! I can't wait to start my blue & white Jane in May. I know it'll take forever, but it's worth it. Thanks for sharing! Nicole

Gator
Wow, beautiful! I finished a Civil War Diary quilt about 2 years ago, but haven't quilted it yet. Would you like to quilt it for me!!! It's 120, 9 inch paper pieced blocks with sashings and corner stones. It's beautiful but to big for my 10FT table, plus I just can't get myselt to start it. LOL.

Susanne.Hughes
It is beautiful. I would love to make one but know it would take me ten years minimum to complete it as well!! Don't you just love it when customers say .... "Just put some straight lines on it." Or ...... "Just stitch in the ditch. Afterall, straight lines are just so easy." NOT! I hope your bill included the cost of a massage?
