Farmland Quilter
I never use those plastic net things either because they have caused me problems. But I would like to have those knit tubes on hand if I need them. What sizes did you purchase? You said they were available in several sizes so I wondered which 2 you use Ardelle?? Corey
I just came back from Walgreens, bought Holdtite by Curad, it came in 5 yards tubes that you cut to fit. I just started quilting with it and seems to be working okay. I had to adjust my tensions on the bobbin and the tension on top. Corey
Bonnie
If you can't find knit tubes. A cut off knee high stocking works well also.
RoseCity Quilter
I am at home so can't measure but I think I have the 1", 1 1/2" and 2". Like I said I really like them. Every size spool seems to like a different size and I try to use a size that fits a little loose. Next time I'm in the drug store that carries them I plan to get some of every size...
