birgitquilts Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 Hello everybody, As there seems to be some interest about which of the SewBatik kits using my pattern will be available at the upcoming shows - HQMS this week and MQS next week - I asked Diane to provide me with the respective information. Find the SewBatik booth at either show to check out the following kits: - Batik Stars (available in Twin, Queen, King size - possibly in both background fabric colorways Dark Whisteria and Tuxedo) - Triangle Fun (art quilt wallhanging) - Round Trip – Squared (Queen size) - Round Trip – Squared (wallhanging) All the respective sample quilts will be there to marvel at as well. One remark about the Round Trip - Squared pattern: This quilt is fairly simple to piece but the lucious SewBatik fabric included in the kit make a purchase worthwhile. Also, I think that the Queen size version of this quilt is especially great for any longarm quilter who would like a simple to piece project that will allow to wonderfully show off her or his skills when it comes to the quilting part. All of these kits are available for mailorder as well. The Batik Stars kits have been on the SewBatik website for a while now, the others will be added soon. Until then you can call the SewBatik headquarters to order them. I'd love to see any finished quilts made from these kits in the near future!
