Michael also said you can make a nice ribbon effect by re sewing the pattern at 1/4 - 1/2 " from original setting. I am going to try it on a baby quilt. I wasn't planning to buy it, but my quilting friend (who uses my machine sometimes) said she would pay half, because she liked it. I am SO GLAD to have it. It has become one of my customer favorites, believe it or not. It's excellent for scrap quilts, busy quilts, T-Shirt quilts, almost anything. And it's so easy to stitch. The entire width of the template is done is ONE PASS. I refunded some of my friend's money, because I've used it so much it's paid for itself already. I can do freehand meander with no problem -- except sometimes the quilt gets in the way -- can't see where I've been or should be going. I don't have that problem with this template. Talk about a fast way to get a quilt done and when someone doesn't know what they want I sway them towards the meander it compliments the busy fabric of some quilts so well.
