I would also love to see Matt's studio, but it is a bit of a hike for me. I was only in Alberta once, probably close to 10 years ago now. It was a winter trip through Banf and Lake Louise. I'm heading up there (about 250 kms) tomorrow to take in two of her classes on Saturday - and visit the Edmonton district Quilt Guild Show . . . can you think of a better way to spend a weekend?? Wannabelongarm Posted June 10, 2011 Report Share Posted June 10, 2011 Just heard Deloa tonight at the Sherwood Park Quilt Guild. I soooo enjoyed her!!! Learned how to organize fabrics and scraps. I am signed up for three of her classes: 2 on Border Patrol and one on stencils. I am really looking forward to them. Plus, I did get two quilts done to enter in the Edmonton Guild's quilt show. My first ever. Was down to the wire, thought of throwing in the towel many times, but got them done, literally whipped on the sleeves, (hope those loooong whip stitches hold!!!) and dropped off last night, with 15 minutes to spare. Will post pictures. Am anticipating what the judges wil say!!! Thanks Sparrow Studioz for bringing these teachers to us!!! Myrna and Karen are coming by the end of the year! Talk about inspiration.
