Beachside Quilter
My friend, Debbie, taught me this trick so I am sharing with you. When using the QZ beadboard template, she puts painters tape over the grooves not being used, so you can just skip across to the next open row for your spacing. I have always "counted" and sometimes missed a row or two. I used this on a recent quilt and found it much easier to stay on the correct line for spacing! Beachside Quilter
Kath: I used "Post It" tape as it is less tacky. Another friend said she put a strip of painters tape crosswise and "x" on the rows to sew on. :P
