Hawaii
http://circlelordmilkyway.blogspot.com/2011/02/milky-way-quilts-by-carmen.html Carmen, did you quilt out your swirls first and go back and add the feathers. Or did you feather as you came to the space by lifting up your stylus. You are amazingly creative with your CL toys!!!
Sandra Darlington
I really like Carmen's idea to add the feathers.
yankiequilter
Barbara, I quilted the swirls and went back and added the feathers after all the swirls were done. I guess you could do the pass of swirls, then free hand the feathers before you advance the quilt. But I can only quilt one thing at a time, can't multi task at quilting! So sorry it took so long to answer you but I've been at a cabin in the woods for three days with my quilty friends, just piecing away! That is really quilting heaven! Hawaii
Thanks, Carmen. I am right there with you when it comes to multi-tasking. I am thinking that this may be a board I will add to my wishlist. Ah yes, a cabin in the woods, quilting, how perfect is that!!!
